"Good morning DPS. I have finally finished up with the installation as well as getting the truck back together. I had taken vacation the entire week last week so I took my time in doing the project. The install went very well. My hat is off to you guys because you definitely have gotten this system down to the last little washer on installing the system. I work as a service engineer for a food processing equipment company and I have never been able to take a set of instructions and follow them and everything works out just exactly as it is stated in the instructions. The only small complication that I have is that the down pipe is touching the cab when a person is actually setting in the truck on the passenger side. That is nothing!!! I give you a huge Thank You and admire your ability to ship out a piece of equipment and it fit perfectly on a vehicle that you have never seen. I know you have seen a lot of Dodge trucks however I have always believed that vehicles are like people, we are all just alike but different.
I know I am taking your time to read this however I wanted to explain what has taken me so long to complete the job. I had taken the whole front of the truck off which allowed the installation of the turbo system to go in rather easy. I wanted to get my intercooler off and cleaned, pressure tested and painted before the compounds were hooked up to it. That took a few days. I also changed out the vacuum pump on the truck while the front was missing and out of the way. The pump had been leaking oil for a while and needed to have been replaced a long time ago. I ordered a Mishimoto radiator in preparation for the compound installation and installed it with both new radiator hoses. The engine oil was going to be changed even if you had not required it to be, she was ready for an engine oil change. I run the Rotella synthetic 5W-40 motor oil in the truck and I have been for a few years. This oil is better for it in the winter time therefore I use it year round.
I know you don't know me but this truck will not see a drag strip or a sled pulling application as long as I own it. It will see pulling a tractor and hay from time to time. After driving the truck with the compounds installed, I don't think the turbo's will ever have to get over 30-35psi for what I do with the truck. I wanted the compounds so that the engine would run as cool as possible when I do pull with it and to extend the engine life due to cooler running temps. I love to hear the system spool up however it doesn't have to very much. Alright, I have taken up enough of your time. "Here's a few pic of your guys 64s480 kit lol it's in a 05 Fummins! Been on 2 years now and still working great! Spool up is tremendous with the 64 over S480. 1400rpm and making boost with 350hp 7x.014sac injs. Pegs a 60lb boost guage all said and done."
“Finally got my Stocker S475 compound kit with Aurora 3000 installed. I don't have the 150 break in miles on it yet but man what a difference. The engine idles better, runs so much cooler !! even in Phoenix hot as hell in summer Arizona. Looking forward to towing and see what this set up really can do. Here are some pictures, I mounted both turbo's on the manifold, removed the alternator, shock tower and shock, then used a cherry picker to put the complete set up on the motor, this was not a bad way to install."

“I had the [DPS] compound kit on my 5.9 Cummins for 4 years now. It made a huge difference in towing trailers. It spools up quick for when I need to get the camper or the trailer moving from a stop. Also, it does not take a lot of effort to make a pass on someone when I’m in a hurry. I would recommend this kit to anyone, whether they want to play or work.

Hey Bret just wanted to say thank you for helping me complete my kit. I really appreciate how trouble free you guys have made this happen from helping me select the right top turbo for my twin set to the clamp and fitting. I can't thank you guys enough. I look forward to ordering a full kit for my wife's truck here soon. You guys are defiantly the way to go.

“Update - Absolutely ecstatic with the towing performance of this kit, night and day difference - no more paranoid nursing of EGTs on long uphill hauls.
Before the kit install the Edge on Tow/Haul mode (Level 2) would easily raise EGTs up out of sight! Post kit install I absolutely cannot get EGTs above 1000* with the Edge on Level 5. Tons of towing power, I pretty much can accelerate at will on even the worst hills, spool is easily as fast as the stock turbo, maybe better. Best yet towing fuel economy has gone up a bit more than 2 mpg.
Long term kit fit and finish has been great, absolutely no oil, exhaust or boost leaks.

“Another update - Towed my car to a race last weekend, on the way back the long haul up out of Vantage (Westbound I-90) is one of the most brutal uphill tows in the area (3-6% for about 10 miles). Same experience, EGTs just hovering in the high 900s, low 1000 degrees while bombing up the hill at 70mph.

“Everything is stock except the mods in my signature - Without adding more fuel, boost levels remain about the same as with the single stocker, the twin kit obviously "flows" a lot more air at the same boost with the added benefit that the air is significantly cooler than with just the stock turbo.
Big Boost and black smoke is not where I want my truck, I'd much rather have a strong tower without any drama!
I don't normally comment on my truck part purchases, but I felt the quality of your kit was worth taking the time for. I recently purchased one of your stoker / S475 kits for my 06 ram. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality and packaging you guys do. This is my first compound turbo set up. I looked at many kits before purchasing yours. I looked at cheaper and more expensive. I had nearly talked myself into buying a cheaper kit. After receiving your kit I was immediately satisfied with spending the extra money on it. I opened the kit and was very impressed with the packaging alone. I thought to myself, if it performs half as well as it's packaged, I was going to be very happy. I had one issue after installation, but it turned out to be my fault for assuming. I assumed the tube from the output of the S475 to the input of my stock turbo was molded to the connector that uses V band clamp onto the S475. I had one extra clamp once installed and I thought it was odd, however I took the truck for it's test ride and was very impressed with the faster spool up but the system got very loud and not as much boost as I had anticipated. I found out very quickly where the extra clamp went. After that mistake was remedied The system is performing flawlessly. I am very satisfied with this kit. I look forward to putting it to the test towing in the Colorado mountains. I will be purchasing your intake for this same truck as well as probably upgrading my stock turbo to one of your new ball bearing turbos in the near future. I will not hesitate to recommend you guys to anyone who asks.
