5th Gen HE300VG Turbo & Exhaust Manifold Kit for 2019–2024 Ram 6.7L Cummins 2500/3500
This Diesel Power Source® turbo and manifold kit combines the two most critical airflow components on the 5th gen 6.7 Cummins into one complete package for 2019–2024 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks. This is a direct factory VGT replacement that keeps your truck on the OEM variable geometry turbo platform with full exhaust brake, warm-up, and emissions compatibility. The kit includes a DPS HE300VG turbocharger with brand-new pre-calibrated actuator, the DPS 5G 2-piece high-flow exhaust manifold, a complete gasket kit, a spin lock bolt kit with all studs and nuts, and all hardware needed for installation.
Three turbo sizes are available to match your power goals. All three maintain factory VGT function, exhaust brake, warm-up, and emissions compatibility while delivering improved airflow, faster spool-up, and lower EGTs compared to the factory turbo and manifold.
Looking for an aftermarket performance turbo instead of a factory-style VGT? Diesel Power Source® also offers S300-based swap kits and compound turbo kits for trucks that need more airflow or higher horsepower than the factory VGT platform can support. Why Replace the Turbo and Manifold Together on a 5th Gen?
On the 5th gen 6.7 Cummins, turbo and manifold failures feed each other. A cracked or warped manifold creates exhaust leaks that reduce the energy reaching the turbocharger, forcing the turbo to work harder and accelerating bearing wear and actuator fatigue. A failing turbo that can't maintain boost creates higher EGTs and backpressure that accelerate manifold cracking. The 5th gen platform runs hotter factory calibrations than previous generations, which makes both components more susceptible to thermal fatigue.
Replacing both at the same time gives you fresh sealing surfaces, new MLS gaskets, new studs, and matched components that work together from day one. It also eliminates the common scenario where a truck comes back to the shop within months because the second component failed after only one was replaced. One job, one labor cost, and the problem is solved correctly.

Turbo Size Options
| Turbo Option | Compressor | Max HP (Rear Wheels) | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| HE300VG (Stock) | 60mm stock compressor & turbine | ~400 HP | Stock replacement, daily driving, mild tuning |
| HE363VG (63mm FMW) | 63mm forged milled wheel | ~550 HP | Moderate tuning, towing, 12% more power than stock |
| HE366VG (66mm FMW) | 66mm forged milled wheel | ~700 HP | Performance builds, aggressive tuning, 15–16% more power |
Tuning note: The stock-size HE300VG requires no tuning. The 63mm and 66mm options benefit from tuning and supporting modifications to take full advantage of the increased airflow.
Fitment
This kit fits 2019–2024 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks with the 6.7L Cummins engine and factory HE300VG turbocharger.
Does NOT fit Cab & Chassis models (Ram 3500/4500/5500) without modification. Cab & Chassis trucks use a different manifold configuration and turbo orientation.
Have a 2007.5–2018 truck? The 5th gen uses a different manifold and turbo configuration than the 4th gen. See: HE300VG Turbo & Manifold Package for 2007.5–2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins

This kit fits 2019–2024 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks with the 6.7L Cummins engine. It does not fit Cab & Chassis models (Ram 3500/4500/5500) without modification. If you have a 2007.5–2018 truck, see the 4th Gen HE300VG Turbo & Manifold Package instead.
A cracked manifold reduces exhaust energy to the turbo, accelerating turbo wear. A failing turbo creates higher EGTs that accelerate manifold cracking. Replacing both together breaks this cycle, gives you fresh sealing surfaces with new MLS gaskets and studs, and saves labor compared to doing two separate jobs. The 5th gen platform runs hotter than previous generations, making both components more susceptible to thermal fatigue.
All three bolt into the factory location and maintain full VGT function. The stock HE300VG (60mm) supports approximately 400 rear-wheel HP. The 63mm (HE363VG) uses a larger forged milled compressor and turbine wheel for approximately 12% more power, supporting up to 550 HP. The 66mm (HE366VG) increases power by 15–16% and supports up to 700 HP with proper tuning and supporting modifications.
Yes. Every kit includes a brand-new electronic VGT actuator that is pre-calibrated to the turbo and ready to install. The actuator is not remanufactured. Perform the quick relearn procedure after installation per the included instructions.
For the stock-size HE300VG, no tuning is required. It's a direct-fit replacement that works with factory emissions, exhaust brake, and warm-up. The 63mm and 66mm options benefit from tuning and supporting modifications to realize their full airflow and power potential.
