The 6.7L Cummins replaced the 5.9 in mid-2007 and has powered Ram heavy-duty trucks ever since, through three distinct generations of factory turbo and emissions configurations. The early HE351VE-equipped 2007.5-2012 trucks, the HE300VG era of 2013-2018, and the 5th generation lower-mount design from 2019-2024 each have their own upgrade path. From HE-series replacement turbos that fix VGT actuator failures to full compound kits that drop EGTs 200-400°F, we engineer and manufacture the parts that solve the issues these trucks are known for.

Why Upgrade Your 6.7 Cummins with Diesel Power Source® Parts
Solves Common 6.7 Problems
Sticking VGT vanes, P003A and P2262 codes, high EGTs under load, factory turbo failures. Our HE-series upgrades, swap kits, and compound systems are engineered to fix the issues these trucks are known for.
Cooler EGTs Under Load
Compound turbo kits drop EGTs 200-400°F by improving combustion efficiency and pulling heat out of the cylinder. Stock-replacement HE-series upgrades lower EGTs even on factory trucks.
Manifolds That Last
Multi-piece HSMD ductile iron with expansion joints absorbs the thermal stress that cracks single-piece factory and competitor manifolds. CFD-tested and pressure-tested before every shipment.
Engineered, Not Resold
Every turbo and manifold is designed and manufactured in our Utah facility. CFD-validated for flow, dyno-validated for power, supported by the engineers who built them.
How to Choose the Right 6.7 Upgrade Path
Keep Emissions Intact
HE-series replacement or upgrade turbos (HE363VG, HE366VG) are direct bolt-in factory-style fits that maintain EGR, DPF, DEF, and the factory exhaust brake. Add-A-Turbo kits provide compound performance while keeping the factory turbo and emissions equipment in place.
3rd Gen Swap Path
Replace the factory T4i manifold and VGT with a DPS T3 or T4 manifold and an S300 or S400 turbo. Stays in the factory turbo location, no custom intercooler or exhaust piping needed. Modernized version of the older "2nd gen swap" approach.
Maximum Performance
Full compound turbo kits with two new DPS turbos. Biggest EGT drops, highest power capability, widest powerband. Plan supporting mods: head studs above 48 PSI, transmission upgrades around 400 RWHP, fuel system upgrades around 500-550 RWHP.
Fitment Checklist
- Confirm year (2007.5-2012, 2013-2018, or 2019-2024) before ordering
- Stock turbo: factory HE351VE on 07.5-12, HE300VG on 13-24
- T4i exhaust flange on 07.5-2018; new 5G flange on 2019-2024
- Notify DPS at order time if you have aftermarket intercooler piping
- Contact DPS to confirm fitment for your engine serial number before ordering
Install & First-Drive Notes
- Use new gaskets and quality hardware; torque in sequence on a cold engine
- Pressure-test the charge-air system before first start
- Re-torque manifold bolts after initial heat cycles per the install instructions
- Monitor boost, EGT, and drive pressure on initial towing runs
