Performance & Driveability
The DPS 6.7L Cummins Compound Turbo Kit offers near-stock spool-up with significantly increased airflow. Designed for towing, racing, sled pulling, or high-performance street driving. Customers regularly report a 300–500°F drop in EGTs compared to single turbo setups.
Boost pressure typically exceeds drive pressure — unlike single turbos, which often suffer from high drive-to-boost ratios. This compound setup improves throttle response and increases horsepower across the full RPM range.
Horsepower Range:
Optimized for builds between 350 HP and 800+ HP. Designed with CAD/CAM and tested using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software for maximum airflow, durability, and perfect fitment.
What’s Included:
- DPS Turbo (different sizes to choose from)
- S475 Turbo (75mm comp / 96mm turbine / 1.32 A/R housing)
- 3-Piece exhaust manifold
- High-temp steel braided oil lines (supply & drain)
- V-band clamps, mounting bolts, gaskets, and adapters
- Cast iron elbow, support brackets, chrome & silicone charge pipes
- Complete intake system with oversized air filter
- 4" exhaust downpipe and all clamps (high-torque & low-torque)
- Installation instructions
Important Notes:
- Requires DPF & EGR delete and a compatible tuner (e.g., Smarty) for off-road use
- Most S300 turbos are compatible with this kit
- This system is for off-road use only in emissions-controlled areas

Compounds keep quick spool for drivability while adding the airflow you need up top. Customers typically report 300–500°F lower EGTs versus comparable single-turbo setups, along with stronger throttle response and a healthier drive-to-boost ratio.
It’s a true bolt-on system built around a DPS high-pressure S300 and a BorgWarner S475/S480 atmosphere turbo, plus a 3-piece high-flow exhaust manifold, cast hot pipe with external wastegate port, oversized intake, downpipe, lines, clamps, and brackets.
Yes. That’s the main win for compounds. The small turbo lights fast for grade starts, and the big turbo carries airflow on long pulls, which helps keep EGTs in check. Users commonly see 300–500°F EGT reductions vs single turbos.
Adding the Turbonator® VGT as the high-pressure unit gives you faster spool, stronger low-RPM torque, wider usable powerband, and optional integrated exhaust brake. Its ball-bearing options and VGT vane control improve transient response and drivability in a compound.

Hello, I
Hello,I do not normally comment on my truck part purchases, but I felt the quality of your kit was worth taking the time for. I recently purchased one of your stocker / S475 kits for my 06 ram. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality and packaging you guys do. This is my first compound turbo set up. I looked at many kits before purchasing yours. I looked at cheaper and more expensive. I had nearly talked myself into buying a cheaper kit. After receiving your kit I was immediately satisfied with spending the extra money on it. I opened the kit and was very impressed with the packaging alone. I thought to myself, if it performs half as well as it is packaged, I was going to be very happy. I had one issue after installation, but it turned out to be my fault for assuming. I assumed the tube from the output of the S475 to the input of my stock turbo was molded to the connector that uses V band clamp onto the S475. I had one extra clamp once installed and I thought it was odd, however I took the truck for a test ride and was very impressed with the faster spool up but the system got very loud and not as much boost as I had anticipated. I found out very quickly where the extra clamp went. After that mistake was remedied, the system is performing flawlessly. I am very satisfied with this kit. I look forward to putting it to the test towing in the Colorado mountains. I will be purchasing your intake for this same truck as well as probably upgrading my stock turbo to one of your new ball bearing turbos in the near future. I will not hesitate to recommend you guys to anyone who asks.
